| Saint Barthelemy is situated in the very middle of the Caribbean, north of Guadeloupe and 15 miles (24 km) south of Saint Martin, spreading out over a surface area of 24 km². Its population is essentially Caucasian, and has been exempt from paying taxes for several decades.

Overview of Anguilla
Location : archipelago of 102 km2, 9 miles (appr. 15 km) north of
Saint Maarten.
Surface area : 91 km2, 26 kilometres long and 5 kilometres wide.
Highest point : only 70 m.
Status : Independent territory, though still dependent of the United
Kingdom, member of the Commonwealth, conducted by a legislative assembly
composed of 11 members, 7 of whom are elected for 5 years. The British crown
is represented in Anguilla by a Governor, responsible for foreign affairs,

Overview
Marie Galante is the one of the largest islands of the archipelago, second only to Guadeloupe itself.
Nature did a wonderful job in this pearl of the Antillean arch, and the area’s cultural and historical heritage can also be discovered by strolling along its numerous mills, memories of an agricultural era singular to the region. Location : Terre-de-Bas is situated
approximately three kilometres from Terre-de-Haut. It is a round-shaped
island, smaller and richer in flora and fauna than neighbouring
Terre-de-Haut.
Surface area : : Terre-de-Haut is six kilometres long
and three kilometres wide at its largest point. An irregularly shaped
island, rendered uneven by coves, sharp points and extinct volcanoes ranging
from 40 to 300 meters. Its earth is unfertile.
