The sandy beaches and coral reefs make Barbados a paradise to relax in the heart of the Caribbean. A warm and festive atmosphere await you in this island with lush tropical vegetation.
The island was discovered by the Portuguese in 1536, then became a British colony in 1627. A British influence which can be seen today in the capital Bridgetown, where the famous Trafalgar Square has been exactly reproduced .
You will discover a vibrant culture with residents with innate sense of celebration: to mark the celebration of the harvest of sugarcane, party is omnipresent in every corner of the island.
Relaxation and water sports are on the agenda. Enjoy a day on one of the many white sand beaches to practice all water sports : water skiing, jet skiing, sailing.
On natural side, you will go to meet the green monkeys of Barbados, mongoose, or otter. You can also admire a landscape dotted with caves and underwater arches. The sugarcane fields and rum are also part of the scenery of Barbados.
You will taste the Caribbean cuisine and its specialties like the cuckoo (cornmeal and okra), or pepperpot (spicy stew).
