Transportation mentioned below is for departures from these two islands. Do not forget that when leaving you must settle a departure tax of 55 EC$ (15€), payable to customs for departure by boat and a tax of 60 EC$ (17€) when departing by plane. It is better to settle this tax in EC$, but they will let you pay in Euros if you don't have any currency left. Children under the age of 12 years do not pay departure taxes. By Sea
By Air2 companies share the market: Air Caraïbes and Liat.Count on a minimum of 150/190 € for a return ticket when departing from the French islands. Ask for information at the airport where your plane departs or arrives. The Canefield airport is located only 10 minutes from Roseau but the airport at Melville Hall is located in the north-western part of the island, 1h30 from the capital. Also good to know: there is a layover of 2 to 4 hours on Saint Lucia since flights are not direct.
