The owner of the leading low-cost airline is preparing to change the system of the static cruising world in the Caribbean by launching the first low-cost cruising company on 12th November.
After a successful season on the Riviera from the 6th May to the 17th October 2005, easyCruiseOne sails to the Caribbean for the winter season of 2005/2006. This product results in a mini cultural revolution of the cruising system due to its innovative concept, its new target customers, its unusual planning, its particularly attractive fares and its original minimum cruising length.

The ship will stop and loop in the following harbours: Bridgetown in Barbados (Saturday and Sunday), Kingstown, in St Vincent (Monday) Fort de France in Martinique (Tuesday), Bequia in the Grenadines (Wednesday), St George's in Grenada (Thursday) and Castries in St Lucia (Friday). Barbados, Martinique, Grenada and St Lucia all offer an international airport with flights from London, Paris and the USA.

This experience, beginning on 15th November, is followed by the whole of the tourism sector and is already adopted by internet users, dashing for their booking.

What is easyCruise ?

easycruise.com is one of the latest products launched by Stélios, owner of easyGroup.

The concept is to offer an original experience to 18 to 50 year old independent travellers who have never considered going on a classic cruise. During the summer of 2005, easyCruiseOne sailed all along the Italian and the French Riviera to St Tropez, Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Imperia (for San Remo), Genova and Portofino.

Unlike traditional cruises, the ship arrives to its destination before lunch time and stays there in the afternoon and in the evening to encourage passengers to visit the worldly famous tourist places the ship stops at. Passengers can come and go while the ship is at bay to see the restaurants, bars, nightclubs, to have a walk, to do some shopping, to go to the beach, to use their time as it fits them best, or to join one of the excursions proposed on board.

Different services are offered on board : Ritazza café, Sports bar and a cocktail bar animated during some evenings by a DJ. The ship also owns a 6-place Jacuzzi and a fitness room.

The ship sets out during the first lights of dawn to reach its next destination. The flexibility of its one week itineraries allow passengers to get on board from any port along the cruise, on condition that they stay at least 2 nights and not more than two weeks (2 complete itineraries).

Double cabins, 4 bed cabins and even suites will be available from 27 euros a night for two persons for passengers booking the day the service is online. The fares will increase according to the demand and the booking period.

The ship offers three types of cabins: 72 double cabins, 6 cabins with four places and four suites. The double cabins measure about 10 square meters and hold two single beds (which form a double bed if you place them next to each other). The four place cabins measure about 15 square meters and hold two series of two beds. Finally, the suites measure 24 square meters and hold two single beds (which form a double bed if you place them next to each other). The suites are located on the front bridge and open on balconies. All the cabins are equipped with toilets, a shower and a washbasin. The suites are the only cabins with windows, nevertheless all cabins are equipped with air conditioning. The cabins also offer sheets, towels and soap, however, passengers will pay 15 euros, payable on board, to have their cabin, sheets and towels cleaned during the cruise.

easyCruiseOne, which transports 1702 passengers and 54 crew members is 88 meters long and disposes of 6 bridges.
