to arrive by boat or plane (this latter option being simply spectacular),
the general view of the island is a breathtaking experience you’ll never
forget, particularly when the peak of Mt Scenery is enveloped in clouds: a
real Hollywood-style cliché. You will no doubt have the impression you’re in
Dominica (North of Martinique) or Saint Vincent (Grenadines). SAINT-KITTS & NEVIS
Redonda.A wild, barren, ghost-like rock solely inhabited by various species of birds, such as the famous brown boobies which follow our boats from Montserrat to Nevis, from Guadelopue to Saint Maarten. If weather permits, it is possible to moor during daytime on the leeward side of this godforsaken territory, which, according to the legend, supposedly belongs to a multimillionaire or to an Irish eccentric.
Mont Liamuiga (Misery). The highest point on the island of Saba (1,131m), the mountain’s name derives from indigenous times, and means “fertile land”. If you choose to climb this rather high slope, we recommend you seek the assistance of a guide. The expedition takes around 7-8 hours, so do not programme this adventure unless you have all day to spend.
