Regattas on Anguilla

Fishing is the second most important activity on the island, right after number one tourism, of course. Beautiful Anguillian boats hoist their sails and take every possible occasion to compare their strengths. The greatest regattas take place during the carnival, in the first week of August, on New Year’s Day and on the occasion of the National Holiday, the 30 May. Less significant races are held on certain Sundays at Road Bay, Rendez-Vous Bay, Blowing Point, etc…
