Inter-island transportation : on Anguilla

Its runway is 1097 m long, which enables links with most neighbouring islands, such as Saint Maarten, Saint Barthelemy, Antigua, Saint Kitts and Nevis, The British Virgin Islands (Beef Island) and the American Virgin Islands (Sainte Croix, Saint Thomas).

Boat

If you choose to take the boat from Saint Maarten, you will arrive on the island at Blowing Point. The shuttle boat links Anguilla and Saint Maarten with several departures a day for a return fare of 18$. Taxies are available right in front of the small port, and are perfectly willing to tour the island with you if requested.
Anguilla and Saint Barthelemy are connected by small motorboats, arriving to Marigot, to the same quay as the Voyager, departing and arriving from Anguilla every 30 minutes, for a return fare of 26$. Reservation is not necessary.

Inter-island transportation : on Saba

Remy de Haenen, professional aviator and resident of Saint Barthelemy insisted that takeoff and landing were by all means possible on Saba, defying the scepticism of expert engineers. The tiny runway of 300m was constructed by the enthusiastic hands of Saba’s inhabitants, and de Haenen finally proved his point by landing there in 1959.

Inter-island transportation: on Saint Kitts & Nevis

Saint Kitts and Nevis are linked to each other as well as to practically all islands in the region, with a wide range of companies to choose from.

Boat

Links between Saint Kitts (Basseterre) and Nevis (Charlestown) are provided by three companies, one of which is state-owned. The voyage takes 45 minutes, with a return fare of 20EC$. Individual crossing possibilities are ensured by small boats, referred to as “sea taxies”, the price of a single ticket is around 20-25 US$.

Statia’s small airport is situated in the centre of the island; flights to Saint Maarten are operated by Winair, with a duration of approximately 20 minutes.
