Saint Barth is an eventful spot for Caribbean big game fishing. Competitions are organised all year round, with the participation of the best West Indian fishermen. The most well-known contest takes place during the month of July, by the name of “Saint Barth open fishing tournament”. Amateur fishermen can choose among the multitude of day and half-day trips proposed by service providers. Be aware that big game fishing is not a quiet little outing on the sea, and is especially not recommended for the seasick-types, as the boat does shake relatively much.
